"Life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent of how I react to it." ~Charles Swindoll

Recently, a friend who was having some health challenges shared that he was in the doctor's office feeling blue. He was sitting in the waiting room when a young person walked by with an artificial leg. Soon after, a younger mother walking by with a very sick infant. Suddenly, his ailments seemed minor.

We all have days when challenges seem overwhelming. No one is making light of the issues we often face. However, the reality is that how I react to them will change the outcome. We can improve or worsen the results based on our attitude and the lens in which we view the circumstances.

If I view the challenges as opportunities to learn, to pull together with my team, and to stretch in new ways, the obstacles become easier to overcome. If I stay focused on feelings of frustration, the circumstances will surely become more daunting.

Personal Challenge:

-How will you view your challenges?

-How will you encourage others to rise above their frustrations?

Integrity. Are You In Alignment?

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say,and what you do are harmony." ~Mahatma Ghandi

If you have ever gone to the chiropractor with back pain, you know the relief that comes from having them adjust your spine, so you are in alignment. All the pinched nerves and your vertebrae are in place. Ah, releif!

The same is true when we align what we think, say, and do. When are lives are in alignment, we do not need to worry about remembering what we said to different people. We have integrit in our lives that allows us to relax and for others to build trust with us.

Trust is the foundation of leadership and sales. If people can predict what we will do, and if they understand who we truly are - they will be drawn to working with us.

Personal Challenge:

Are you in alignment? In what ways can you strengthen your integrity to create stronger trust with those around you?

All The Best,

John Karle

The Seeds of Sustainable Success

by blogadmin 22. April 2019 02:26

"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant." ~Robert Stevenson

Our tendency is to look at the bank account or sales figures each day to determine if we are successful. You may be working hard on long-term projects that will not show results in the short-term. The real question is not whether you are seeing sales today, but rather what you are doing that will produce the greatest results long-term.

While leaders must balance the need for short-term sales with the long-term goals; the short-term gains will not predict sustainable success. If we are investing in the most important things; the things that will make a difference a year or more from now, then we will achieve success. Begin focusing your time and resources on those critical factors and achieve true success.
