Each year is a journey of steps, and each step we take holds its own capacity to teach us something, to open our eyes, and to wake us up so we can show up with more purpose and presence. As the year comes to a close, it's good to review and reflect. In her video blog, Marie Forlio suggests 3 powerful, but simple questions to ask yourself:

(1) What's one thing you did that you're proud of?

"Your life is a journey. Own every step you take." ~Rae Smith

(2) What's one mistake you made and the lesson you learned?

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."  ~Albert Einstein

(3) What's one story or circumstance you're willing to let go of before the New Year?

"You will find it necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy.

So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weight to my ankles." ~C. Joybell C.

Personal Challenge:

Before you set a New Year's resolution or list new goals, take the time to reflect on the last 12 months. And...have a Happy New Year!
