After coming through challenging times, there is often a question of “Now What?” After all the hard work, pushing through obstacles and finally resolving an issue, it is tempting to just catch our breath and let things unfold. For many, this election process has been exhausting and it would be easy to say, voting is over, let’s just get back to normal, whatever that is for us.
First, I want to thank everyone who voted and made your choice heard. That truly is one of the most important rights we have, to decide what we want our government to be versus someone else determining that future. However, there is another responsibility that has become even more important. After we vote, we need to join together to become stronger as people and as a country.
